About OTRCH Programs
We have three main programs developed to carry out our mission:
Housing Programs
We promote affordable housing to meet the needs of the residents in the neighborhood. Our housing includes subsidised, supportive, as well as units for individuals and families throughout Over-the-Rhine.
See the Housing page for more infomration about our housing programs. To apply for housing, go to the Apply page.
Resident Engagement
What's a neighborhood without its residents? We encourage residents to get involved with each other and participate in shaping Over-the-Rhine.
We work to increase resident leadership by increasing resident membership on the Board of Directors and building community block clubs. Residents are kept up to date about the organization and the community by way of a quarterly newsletter. Residents, staff, and volunteers mingle socially at the annual summer picnic and holiday luncheon. We work closely with residents to organize regular forums and establish Block Clubs.
For more information about how we engage residents, go to the Residents section.
Advocacy and Education
Just as important as the housing we provide and the residents we serve, is the the focus on advocacy and education. This aspect is important for building a coalition of individuals, government officials, and organizations who continue to actively pursue and support affordable housing and fostering a healthy neighborhood.
Go to the Advocacy and Education page for the specifics on how we are accomplishing this goal.
